GENERAL FAQs:
Do you do printing?
Yes, Swizzotec Arts can have almost any project printed for you. Pricing is competitive and our work is of the highest quality. We can have the order shipped to you hot off the press. We offer a variety of shipping methods allowing freedom for rush print orders and shipping. Keep in mind, rush orders will include additional fees for processing.

What kind of graphic arts services do you provide?
At Swizzotec Arts, we provide various types of print and web design. Our services include but are not limited to logo design, corporate identity, digital art, web graphics, websites, web maintenance, direct mail design, marketing, and stationery, which include business cards, letterhead, envelopes, mailing labels, and presentation folder design. If there is a service that is needed but are not sure if we offer it, email us or give us a call to see what we can do for you.

What do you charge for your graphic design services?
Our prices vary based on the project. We do not advertise prices on our website. If a quote/estimate is needed use our online quote request form located here. Prices will be based on the information provided and are to be considered an estimate. Should the client decide to work with Swizzotec Arts you will receive an official quote after all details of the project are discussed and understood by both parties.

What is the client's involvement in the design process?
The client is involved from cradle to grave. Our projects would not be successful with out understanding the vision of our clients. No matter the size, each project is treated with the same professionalism and high quality standard.

How do I check on the progress of my project?
The client is a part of the project from inception. Email links are sent to clients for approval and prior to moving forward with the project. Clients can email or call Swizzotec Art at any time during the project to check on project status.

How will I receive my design project once it is finished?
All files will be available to the client on CD (at the request of the client) with the exception of master files. Master files will not be provided to the client. This is done to protect trade secrets and proprietary information.

Web Media:
Upon contract completion, all website files are uploaded to your server. Most of the time, html files are considered master files as their source is available for all to see. Examples of master files are Macromedia Flash and Photoshop these are considered masters because they contain how certain effects were created etc. and will not be released to the client.

Print Media:
Vector files such as logos will be provided in “vector format” ensuring they will be fully scalable. For projects such as posters, flyers, postcards etc. only flattened versions of that file will be provided. All print media files will be camera or print ready at all times. Swizzotec Arts will inform clients on all details of the project, leaving nothing in the dark. There are never hidden fees; we believe in integrity and will conduct business accordingly.

Who has copyright ownership?
The client will own the copyright after the receipt of final payment. Swizzotec Arts will reserve the right to use any work rendered for promotional purposes only.

Some clients ask us about logo copyrights…All copyrights of logos and artwork created for clients belongs to the client after final payment is received. Again, Swizzotec Arts reserves the right to use any art work rendered for promotional purposes only.

I need a design right now...can you help me?
Most of the time, Swizzotec Arts can accommodate rush orders. Rush orders also depend on our production schedule. Swizzotec Arts reserves the right to add an additional surcharge of 50% to 100% on top of the normal pricing.

Is there a type of project you will not get involved with?
We reserve the right to NOT work with companies dealing in HARMFUL, UNLAWFUL, ADULT, or QUESTIONABLE material.

What is print design?
Print or graphic design is the term used to describe the use of text and images in the creation of print media. Print media includes business cards, postcards, flyers, brochures, magazines etc.

Do I need a logo, can you design one for me?
Every business no matter the size needs a professional logo reflecting who they are and what type of business is in operation. A logo is a representation, a symbol. Logos add credibility to a business/company.

Swizzotec Arts can definitely handle the design of your logo. However, a logo is just the beginning; from the logo you develop the look and feel of your company, adding consistencies throughout. This is known as corporate identity/branding.

Do you have samples?
Yes! You can view samples in our porfolio. We have a corporate Identity portfolio as well as a logo design portfolio.

WEB Design FAQs
Why do I need a website for my business?
A website is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in short all the time. Potential clients and customers can research your business and see what is new and available at any time from any place in the world.

What should I have in my website?
A website should convey information about your business. It should, at the very least give details about your business, products and/or services offered. Think of this as a business card for the world to view.

Wow much does a website cost?
Website design pricing will vary based on the content size and type of content/components needed. We have 3 website design packages to use as a base. We are competitive and provide custom design at a high quality level. Most of the time we can work within a given budget; however, there may be times when we just can not develop a project based on a certain budget.

Do you have any website design samples?
Yes! Samples may be viewed in our website design portfolio. Also, look at our other portfolios for more samples of work developed.

Can you create Flash animated websites?
Yes we can! Full Flash website samples can be viewed in our website design portfolio. In addition to full flash website design we also build flash components for your website such as animated headers and navigation.

What is Flash?
Macromedia Flash is the name of the software used to produce the animation seen on many websites. Most of the animated content online/on the web is created with Macromedia Flash.

What is a web host, do I need one?
Web hosts are companies that keep websites live on the internet. In order to provide a website, a web host is needed; with out them no one will be able to access your website. We currently work with several great web hosts and will only refer you to the best.

Do you offer web hosting?
Swizzotec Arts does not offer web hosting. We work with a few select website hosting companies and can refer you to one we work with regularly or your preference.
